Operation Basic Inferno is an isometric 3rd person shooter where you climb (or descend, the elevator's a little vague on direction) through a skyscraper stuffed with murder bots, blowing them up in increasingly satisfying ways. Every level is procedurally generated, so the game is happy to surprise you with fresh new ways to almost die.

  • Explore 9 floors of well deserved violence against robots.  Manage your ammo, search for supplies, find the next elevator, and rescue your homies.
  • Run-and-gun combat with pistols, shotguns, machine guns, explosive tripwires, karate chops, and disruptor grenades, because diplomacy wasn't on the menu.
  • Skill trees to pump points into shooting power, health, explosives, hacking ability, or critical hits.  Spend now or save up, your funeral either way.
  • Chunky explosions because robots deserve a dramatic exit.  Hack terminals to get the turrets on your side.  Set tripwires to tokenmaxx the explosions.
  • Enjoy a full techno- and metal-inspired soundtrack. Crank up the volume and open fire.

No unions for the robots. No severance for you if you lose.

Time to tell the AI: you're fired.

PRO TIPS
- You start the game with all weapons, but there isn't enough ammo available to destroy all enemies with just your guns.
- Collect and set tripwires, or hack terminals on walls to make turrets friendly, then lure enemies into a trap to save ammo.
- Shooting an enemy tripwire will trigger a strong explosion. Do it.
- Don't be afraid to run from bad situations like hostile turrets. Or performance reviews.
